23rd to 27th July 2012
Watch out for publicity and booking forms coming home this week!
Once more John Mason School is please to offer a whole week of creative activity for 6 to 16 year olds. They’re a great way to start the Summer Holidays. Children and young people will learn new skills, create new works of art, and importantly HAVE FUN!
All workshops will end at approximately 12 noon on the Friday and all Summer School students will share what they have been doing during the week. For those involved in the Dance and Theatre projects this will include a chance to perform. Friends and family are welcome to attend too.
Summer Enrichment Activies
Last August, John Mason School site was a buzz of activity, as 32 students from both John Mason and Fitzharrys schools enjoyed five mornings of one-to-one tuition and a range of exciting enrichment activities.
Students joined the summer school either because they wanted to gain greater confidence in their Maths or English skills, or because they wanted to boost their progress, ready for September. Every morning, each student had two hours of personalised tuition from a qualified teacher in either Maths or English. All students found the teaching really helpful; each hour was specially planned to meet their needs and learning style, so they found that they learnt really quickly, and enjoyed the challenge.
